Summary of activities

We delivered wide ranging programs focussed on developing conservation work skills of the long term unemployed, individuals who have experienced loss of employment as a result of covid, indigenous individuals and individuals with low socioeconomic status and high levels of unemployment. In partnership with the Commonwealth Government we initiated programs to build capacity and aid recovery in bushfire affected communities. We also delivered other economic recovery programs across regional New South Wales, Mt Lofty Ranges and Greater Blue Mountains. We initiated programs to connect people to nature including covid modified online activites to mitigate the mental health impacts of extended periods of isolation and disconnection as well as unemployment.
